The Challenge
Integrating the nearshore hub into Valtech’s global ecosystem without disrupting daily operations or losing talent. The objective was two-fold: protect the existing asset by ensuring a smooth transition for people and clients, and then build the foundation for future growth by designing a new service line tailored to the European market.
The Approach
The Narrative
Following the acquisition of Kin + Carta by Valtech, my role evolved from managing day to day on delivery hub to working closely with the European team, to lead a commercial strategy for a new service line for the DACH region.
Phase 1: The Operator – Hub Integration & Stability
Integrating teams of different background, culture and countries from Kin + Carta which was around 350+ people to a close to 900+ people operation in the nearshoring hub. The focus was on operational continuity, aligning processes with Valtech’s standards while maintaining the distinct culture that drove the team's performance. This ensured key talent retention and business continuity during the critical post-merger window.
Phase 2: The Transition – Client Continuity & Capability Expansion
The priority shifted to stabilizing and expanding existing client relationships during the merger. This involved merging client accounts into the new Valtech structure and ensuring a seamless transition of services. We focused on deepening relationships with legacy enterprise accounts by improving delivery efficiency and introducing Valtech’s broader capabilities to these existing partnerships.
Phase 3: The Growth – Designing ‘Scaling Solutions’
As Director of Sales for DACH, I worked closely with the European Sales team to introduce a new service line called Scaling Solutions, focused on providing high-performing teams in a BOT format for enterprise clients across Europe.
The Launch
Scaling Solutions launched as a brand-new service line in 2025. This initiative was focused on expanding the capability footprint of the business across Europe. The work involved defining the commercial proposition, structuring the offering, and positioning it for the DACH market to drive future pipeline, establishing the framework for the next phase of growth in the region.

- Client Management: Managed the smooth merger of key accounts from automotive to financial services into the new entity, introducing wider capabilities to drive expansion
